if the registry Folder does not exist, this means the Client is not (properly) installed and Default Settings are proposed. I was just wondering, if my personalization / configs are getting lost, if I just delete the old addon folder and paste the new one.

It would be great, instead of using a registry Folder as mentioned before, It would help using a registry Folder like "Tukui_client" which could be read relating "InstallLocation". As far as I understood you need to delete the ElvUI Addon folder and just paste the new update there.

and all my ElvUI profiles are gone from options. No matter how many times I download the latest ElvUI update it does not update in game. I logged out and back in a few hours later. Since each Version creates a new entry in the uninstall section instead of using a "unique" Folder Name, the installer of a new Version does not konw the "previous Version" installed, and cannot try to read the entries of the previous Version. I spent weeks tweaking my ElvUI profile and today, I was playing no problem. Also wouldnt hurt to do a setting export text file (under profiles in the configuration screen IIRC) and save it somewhere safe.

Since I have a 64bit Windows, the uninstall entries are stored in the Registry under HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ In case you are updating, it would be wise to delete the existing Tukui and TukuiConfig folders. (btw for me there are 3 now: 3.0.5 3.0.6 and 3.1.1) Tukui & ElvUI are complete Blizzard ui replacements. They are free to accept my advice or not.At least, TukUI Client appears in the list of installed programs, so there must be an "uninstall" entry. I try to never steer a person in one direction when I try to help them. with the recent update to support Blizzard Arena Frames its a good alternative to similar addons such as Gladius OmniCD ElvUI OPie Plater Nameplates. I am not steering anyone else to use the program, only offering options they may consider. You are welcome to your opinions, but I will have to disagree with your statements regarding wowmatrix. In TukUI and ElvUI's cases, the authors decided to stop uploading to Curse, and wanted the direct ad revenue of their own site instead. Since you asked, the reason why ElvUI (or any AddOn) is or is not on Curse or Wowinterface is 100% up to the author.

They have a good client as well, but you have to sign up for free in order to download the client. If I select Direct Input Device as the controller profile in GRID2/GRID:AS the accelerator is assigned to the Y-axis. ElvUI can only be downloaded from TukUI's site, linked above. The Tukui Windows Client is an addon manager that allows you to browse, install, and update your addons. If you want clean updating programs, you need either the Curse Client or Wowinterface's Minion. We authors almost universally despise Wowmatix, and at one point were forced to take legal action. Also, their database of AddOns is limited by legally-defined AddOns as being part of the public realm, ie: open source, public domain, etc.
